Baby Massage
Promoting nurturing touch and communication (Part of the IAIM Mission statement)

Baby massage classes offer evidence based techniques for massaging you baby from head to toe in a supportive group with other parents. This course is suitable for babies from birth to 1 year old. The course runs for 5 weeks.

I trained at a International Association of Infant Massage instructor when I was woking as a Health Visitor in the West end of Newcastle quite a few years ago. I have completed my refresher course recently to allow me to offer baby massage classes.

Why Baby massage?
There are many benefits learning how to massage your baby these are some of them -
-
Provides a dedicated time for you and your baby to get to know each other better.
-
Promotes attachment through nurturing skin to skin touch.
-
Encourages relaxation and reduces stress hormones
-
May help to reduce colic and improve digestion.

What do I need?
